As a Laboratory team leader , at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars.

What awaits you?

• Work Environment – you oversee production line measurements in a high-standard laboratory.
• Team – as the leader of a 10–12 member laboratory team, you will support colleagues in performing measurement room tasks.
• Leadership and Inspiration – you take care of the training and mentoring of your team responsible for sample preparation and measurements. You initiate development processes with the involvement of your team.
• Process Supervision – you plan capacities and ensure availability to support efficient production operations. You guarantee production continuity through problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Measurement Preparation – you prepare in-process and finished product samples, conduct measurements, and evaluate the results. You work with sample preparation tools, machines, and material testing equipment during your work.
• Measurement Execution – you participate in measurement-related developments, optimization, calibration, and maintenance activities.

What should you bring along?

• Educational background – you have at least a technician-level qualification (mechanical technician, electronics technician, or mechatronics technician).
• Work Experience – you have at least 1–3 years of experience in a leadership or professional coordinator role. Experience in the automotive or metal industry is preferred.
• Work Schedule – you are willing to work in a long-term, three-shift system.
• Leadership Skills – being confident and responsible in planning shift schedules, ensuring availability, and in the training and development of team members.
• Measurement Knowledge – you are familiar with and able to use measuring equipment (hand measuring tools, microscope, tensile/compression tester, CT X-ray, etc.).
• Quality Control – you are familiar with process and quality optimization tools.
