Architect Tractor & Mobile Working Machines

Responsibilities:

- Participation in the creation of requirement specifications, (target) cost estimates, target cost tracking, sup-plier identification/pre-selection.
- Participation in the creation and design of vehicle architectures or vehicle concepts during the concept phase
- Integration of systems and components into the complete vehicle
- Packaging/layout of single parts, assemblies up to complete vehicles with variants and options
- Creation and maintenance of product structures in the PDM system incl. project-dependent tailoring
- Execution of design reviews with regard to option/variant integration, production/logistics, assembly on the line, service, etc. with the respective departments involved
- Regular tracking of the design status in the 3D environment as well as maintenance of the data structure in the PDM system Steering of design engineers and designers
- Monitoring and enforcement of the design guidelines in consideration of the respective customer house standards

Profile:

- Completed engineering studies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, design engineering or comparable qualification
- Many years of industry experience in the vehicle sector, ideally in the field of tractor development, construc-tion machinery development
- Experience in vehicle architecture, packaging and layouting
- Experience in dealing with product master structures, platform principles
- Design experience in CAD-3D (ProE/Creo, Catia V5, ...)

- Fluent in written and spoken German/English, other languages would be advantageous

- Strong communication and teamwork skills in an international environment
