Currently, we are looking for a Manual Software Tester to meticulously review software applications, conduct thorough testing procedures, identify and document bugs, and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software products.
What would be your job?
- Work closely with software developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, and to address and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Preparing and executing field tests, working out field test plans and routes, arranging accommodation and infrastructure
- Verify the compatibility of navigation software with various automotive platforms, devices, and operating systems
- Execute test cases and scenarios to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of navigation software
- Designing, developing, executing, and documenting tests for iGO navigation solutions
- Evaluate the user interface and user experience of the navigation system
- Supporting the release of the navigation software
- Identify, document, and track software defects
If you have…
- At least 1 year of experience in designing, developing, executing/running and documenting manual and/or automated SW tests
- General knowledge in the field of Software testing
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Category B driving license, experience in different driving situations in different countries, the more you drove (without causing accident), the better
- Willingness to travel
- Willingness to improve your IT skillset
- At least intermediate level English
- Quality-oriented attitude
- Flexible attitude
moreover, an advantage if you have any of the following:
- Basic knowledge of at least one script language, or hardware expertise
- Hands-on experience in either Android or Linux environments
- Ability to design and document formal test cases
- Any level of Chinese language proficiency
- Experience in visual design and UX testing
- Experience with command-line terminal
- Result- and efficiency-oriented attitude
- Experience in automated testing
- Understanding of programming
- Familiarity with the road rules (Highway Code) and culture of various countries (outside the EU)
- ISTQB CTFL certification
