Skyways Technics is looking for a Logistics Officer to be based at our Workshop in Debrecen, Hungary.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to Store and Logistics Manager.
- Day-to-day operations for logistics and inventory management, interfacing with the workshops/planning and customer support officer.
- Optimize shipment solutions (in a timely and costly).
- Ensure that incoming parts are received correctly in our IT software and regulatory requirements as well as company procedures are enforced.
- Handle import and export shipments.
- Induct parts in the workshops for repair.
- Release repair parts to shops from stores.
- Import and export inspection of aircraft parts.
- Packing procedures.
- Keep storage areas under control and an acceptable environment.
- Liaise with group procurement for stock replenishment needs.
- Keep stores and logistics area clean on all occasions.
Requirements:
- Experience in day-to-day logistics operations and inventory management.
- Strong English knowledge, both speaking and writing.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Forklift license.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Experience in the aviation industry is an advantage.
