As a Shopfloor IT Specialist, at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars.

What awaits you?

• Troubleshooting and coordinating complex disruptions in production and IT systems.
• Testing digital solutions and future innovations, supporting commissioning, and being the first contact for production.
• Optimizing application software, databases and cloud-supported applications in the production.
• Installing, updating, and implementing IT security mechanisms (e.g., patch management, virus signatures) and coordinating firmware updates to prevent IT attacks, data loss, and misuse in the production environment.  
• Turning raw data coming from production machines into a structured database and analysing these data etc.

What should you bring along?

· University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, or a related field, with several years of experience in IT support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

·  Experience with PLC programming.

·  Experience in working with databases, gateways, and cloud technologies.

·  Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Caffe, Torch, MXNet, Keras, OpenCV, Scikit-Learn, MLlib, or Pattern would be an advantage.

·  Knowledge of one or more common programming languages (e.g., C#, Batch, SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, HTML/CSS) would be a plus.

·  Proficiency in Hungarian and fluent English are required; German language skills would be an advantage.
