AVL is the world's largest independent company for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains (hybrid, combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and software) for passenger cars, trucks and large engines and their integration into the vehicle.
Design Engineer Transmission
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in our development projects for Transmission and Electrified Powertrain
- Being responsible for components, subsystems
- Develop casted, forged, injection moulded, sheetmetal components in 3D
- Develop manufacturing documentations 2D/ 3D
- Works in close contact with Project management and with Analysis department
- Works together with customer and suppliers
YOUR PROFILE:
- BSc/ MSc degree in Mechanical or Vehicle Engineering or similar, at least 3 years professional experience
- Strong ProE/Creo, CATIA V6 or Siemens NX skills
- Being able to work indipendently
- Fluency in written and spoken English, German is an advantage
- Good communication/presentation skills, strong team player
