Security Supervisor

We are looking for a Security Supervisor who will be responsible for the physical security management of the whole plant.

About the job

• Manage all physical security provisions related to the management system in accordance with the management system procedures and work instructions and ensure that they are complied with by everyone in the course of their work.
• Preparing and implementing a civil protection plan and carrying out reviews as necessary.
• If necessary, requesting the assistance of the local security unit and the fire brigade to implement the emergency plan, and coordinating with the emergency services and police units as necessary.
• Notifying the competent authorities upon receipt of sabotage and attack warnings.
• Liaising with the parties concerned in the event of martial law and mobilisation, taking the necessary precautions and participating in the management of the company's operations.
• Managing the action plan prepared for the contingency plan with the Head of Security, submitting it to the persons responsible for the relevant measures for its implementation and following up the plan.
• If necessary, planning physical exercises at the sites for which he/she is responsible, reporting on the results and reporting to the relevant persons.
• Monitoring the activities of the security company providing the services and requesting individual protection measures where necessary.
• Assesses information from security staff that may affect the security of the premises and takes the necessary precautions
• Follow up security reports on a daily/monthly basis, submit activity reports to relevant units.
• Monitoring and checking security protocols.
• Checking and monitoring the deployment of security services
• Registering, checking and monitoring all keys to the premises.
• Ensuring that the risk analyses required for the management systems standards are carried out and that departmental targets are set based on the relevant systems.
• Daily monitoring of the security service, reviewing and maintaining the security service system report.

What we need from you:

• Around 5 years of experience in physical security coordination
• Native Hungarian and at least strong intermediate English
• Experience from a manufacturing company is a strong advantage
• Experience from a green field project, setting up security needs is an advantage as well
• At least bachelor degree from a university or college is ideal
• Proficiency in risk assessment and emergency planning.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for safety and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
